President Viktor Yuschenko says that Ukraine has received support of the United States in its intentions to join the NATO Membership Action Plan.

Yuschenko told this at the joint press conference with US President George Bush following their meeting in Kyiv.

"We've received the fullest support of the United States of America with regards to Ukraine's acceding to the NATO Membership Action Plan at the summit in Bucharest," Yuschenko said.

"I'm confident that we'll receive a positive signal in Bucharest. We're going there with such spirits. I'm sure we'll find arguments for the states that are still forming their position on this issue," the president said.
