There will be no early parliamentary elections in Ukraine, and no Kyiv mayor elections as well, President Viktor Yushchenko told a meeting of the National Security and Defense Council.
"I would like to remind that the country will see no snap parliamentary elections, just to remind that we live not a surreal, but a practical, every day life. And we have to respond to the challenge of this every day life," Viktor Yushchenko stressed.
The time is ripe to forget about elections and proceed to work, and this especially refers to executive power, the Head of State noted.
